Protection and Control
Protection and control panels are mainly composed of protection and control units, equipment responsible for processing electrical quantities through implemented logic.
They are considered essential in the Power Substation and can also be used as field signal concentrators, to provide greater efficiency in electrical installations.
The main functions of substation electrical panels are control, protection, monitoring and interlocking of electrical power networks, electrical power maneuvering, and remote control with the control center (CCO).
